About St. Joseph School Cockeysville
Named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2013 by the U.S. Department of Education, St. Joseph School is a Catholic parish school serving children in Pre-K 4's to Grade 8. Located in the heart of Cockeysville, St. Joseph School offers a vibrant Catholic environment and academic excellence along with a variety of athletic, social, and extracurricular opportunities. The school's curriculum utilizes creative instruction as well as state-of-the-art technology to make learning interactive, interesting, and long lasting.
Learn to assemble robots, design robot creatures, program robotic movements, 3D print anything imaginable, and learn to fly drones in ways they never thought possible! We encourage teamwork and imagination while applying problem-solving and STEM skills in order to awaken a sense of curiosity about the role of technology in our world!. Our coaches, a perfect blend of tech lovers, and experienced teaching professionals, make learning FUN!
This year students may choose from STEM Club on Mondays, or be on the St. Joseph School travel team which meets Mondays and Wednesdays. Teams work to improve throughout the season and earn the right to compete in the State Championships. Top teams at State are eligible to compete in the World Championships! Last year 12 teams from Maryland qualified for the World Championship competition!
The competitive season runs September through March with occasional competitions at other area schools. We have some flexibility with the size of the club, but space is limited.
Be sure to select 'Join Travel Team' at Checkout if your student would like to participate in the Travel Team.
